The 2026 Nations Championship

The Nations Championship launched for the first time in 2026 and has been a massive hit, introducing a fresh, exciting tournament format to the international rugby union calendar.

We sold thousands of tickets for July’s Southern Hemisphere Series, which produced some thrilling rugby and stirring atmospheres in some of the most iconic stadiums in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and beyond.

Italy endured a tough time in the summer, losing all three of their fixtures in July to Japan (27-10), New Zealand (47-17) and Australia (57-10), though they will hope to perform better and restore some pride on home soil in November.

South Africa meanwhile, were typically imperious in July, recording bonus-point wins over England (45-21), Scotland (42-28) and Wales (43-0) to collect 15 points. The Springboks will be determined to continue their march to glory when they visit Turin.

Tickets for Italy vs South Africa have been selling fast on our online platform, so we recommend securing yours as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment. Italy vs South Africa Rugby Union: A brief history

Italy and South Africa first met on the rugby battlefield in 1995, but since then, they’ve become familiar foes, meeting 19 times in total.

Unsurprisingly, the Springboks have been almost utterly dominant, winning 18 of the nations’ 19 encounters (94.74%), including a 32-14 victory when Italy and South Africa last met in November 2025.

The Italians’ only ever against-the-odds triumph over South Africa was relatively recent however (20-18 in 2016), and the current Gli Azzurri crop will be aiming to draw inspiration from those heroes ahead of their latest tussle with the Springboks in the autumn.

Watching the Springboks in Europe is always an incredible experience and with LiveRugbyTickets, you can be there to catch every pass, carry and tackle as it happens live at the Allianz Stadium.

Our real-time inventory is waiting to be explored and we have listings of official Italy vs Springboks tickets available to buy right now. Our ticketing platform is fully secure, and equipped with 256-bit protection, meaning you can buy rugby union tickets from resellers with complete confidence.

Current Nations Championship ticket prices for November’s meeting between Italy and South Africa on our platform start at as little as £40, but you’ll need to act fast to secure your seats for what should be a memorable clash in Turin.
